Independent Thinkers
Odette Capital’s Intern Alumni represent a small, carefully selected group of individuals who have contributed meaningfully to the firm’s work across investment banking, research, and transaction execution.
Interns are integrated directly into live mandates and strategic initiatives, working closely with senior leadership in a boutique environment that emphasizes intellectual rigor, independent thinking, and professional integrity.
Our alumni have gone on to pursue careers and advanced study in investment banking, asset management, public policy, sustainability, and related fields, carrying forward the analytical discipline and perspective developed during their time at Odette.
We consider the internship a formative professional experience and maintain enduring relationships with our alumni as they progress in their careers.
“The level of responsibility and transparency stood out immediately. I was trusted with real analysis that fed directly into live transactions, and I learned how theory translates into judgment under uncertainty — something you don’t get from coursework alone.”
“This was the first experience I’ve had where sustainability wasn’t treated as a marketing layer, but as a real financial constraint. I learned how policy, capital markets, and project risk intersect, and how disciplined debt structuring can determine whether a project actually gets built.”
“What surprised me most was how deeply technical the work actually was. I wasn’t just building models or cleaning data — I was applying quantitative thinking to real financing structures and seeing how small assumptions materially change outcomes. It felt much closer to applied systems design than a typical finance internship.”
